A
self-contained emergency eyewash station suitable
for applications where plumbed potable water is
not available. The Safety Equipment
Institute (SEI) certifies this unit meets or
exceeds ANSI Standard Z358.1-1981 for a 15-minute
emergency eyewash. The unit also includes a
separate 5 minute fill-line marking for a personal
eyewash. Provides quality field-proven

Concentrate Refill for Porta Stream II
This
concentrate is included with The Porta Stream II
unit. Mix concentrate with potable (tap) water
according to directions to provide 16 gallons of
Eyesaline solution, and isotonic buffered saline
flushing solution. Replace solution at least
once every six months.

Porta Steam
II
This unit
hold 16 gallons of Eyesaline solution and flushes
both eyes at the required .04 gpm for 15
minutes. The Eyesaline solution flow begins
immediately when the nozzle-restraining strap is
pulled off.

This
unit mounts on the wall; its advantage over squeeze
bottles is that is allows "hands free"
flushing. Once the gravity-fed unit is
activated by pulling off the nozzle strap, both
hands are free to hold open the eyelids while eyes
are flushed simultaneously.
